WHY GIVE YOUR AI EMAIL CONTEXT?
Your work has context in one account. Your side project has it in another. Mailrooom gives your assistant one connection to the mailboxes you chooose, so it can help with both.
“What needs my attention across my connected inboxes today?”
Ask your assistant to pull together the latest messages that need a response, instead of checking each account separately.
“Review the latest launch emails in my work and side-project inboxes.”
Bring related conversations into the same chat, even when they arrived at different email addresses.
“Draft a reply to this message. I’ll review and send it in Mailrooom.”
Review the exact draft in Mailrooom, then use Approve and send when you are ready.
Example prompts for your compatible assistant, using the messages it retrieves and the permissions you grant. Mailrooom connects your inboxes; you keep chatting in your AI assistant.
BRING YOUR ASSISTANT
Connect through MCP. Codex is verified with Mailrooom; Claude, Cursor and Copilot in VS Code require compatible remote MCP and OAuth settings. Logos belong to their respective owners.
Mailrooom is where you connect your accounts
and see the mail available to your assistant.
Ask your questions in your AI chat.
YOU’RE RIGHT WHERE YOU NEED TO BE
Fictional mail. Read-only preview. Nothing here changes your inbox.
Filter this fictional inbox and open a message. In Mailrooom, reading leaves your provider’s read status and stars untouched.
Connect multiple supported IMAP accounts, from the same provider or different providers. Mailrooom makes them available through one assistant connection, without giving your AI the mailbox passwords.
ONE MCP ENDPOINT. YOUR INBOXES.Ask a compatible assistant to summarize your inboxes, read a message, or prepare a draft. Enable only the capabilities you need for each mailbox and authorization.
Review AI-created drafts in Mailrooom. Approve the exact sender, recipients, and text for one assistant send. The permission expires after five minutes, and you can revoke it.
Useful access for your assistant.
Specific protections for your email.
Mailbox passwords and local drafts are encrypted before storage. Passwords are never returned to the browser or through assistant toools.
OAuth scopes and per-mailbox capabilities govern each assistant action. Revoke authorizations from your account when you need to.
Review the exact sender, recipients and message, then approve and send once. Pending or uncertain sends cannot be retried automatically.
App and assistant reads leave message flags unchanged. The browser offers sanitized HTML and plain text, with remote images and executable email content blocked.
When you ask your assistant to read mail, the retrieved content is shared with that assistant’s AI provider. Connect only the mailboxes you intend to share, and review your AI provider’s privacy settings. Read the privacy guide.
04 / CONNECT YOUR ASSISTANT
Keep your email addresses and your AI assistant.
Mailrooom is the connection between them.
Sign up and verify your email. You’ll get a private workspace for your mailbox connections and AI permissions.
Add and test each mailbox’s IMAP and SMTP settings. Some providers need an app password. Check the provider guides first.
Add the Mailrooom connection URL to your compatible assistant using MCP, the standard that connects AI to external toools. Authorize access, then ask about your inboxes. Follow the assistant setup guide.
05 / A LITTLE CLARITY
Before you settle in.
Yes. Add multiple supported mailboxes to your Mailrooom account, including accounts with the same provider or different providers. Your compatible AI assistant can retrieve messages across the connected mailboxes you authorize through a single Mailrooom connection.
Mailrooom is the connection between your email accounts and your AI assistant. You ask questions and request drafts in your assistant’s chat. Mailrooom gives you a read-only combined inbox, connection and permission controls, and an AI drafts tab to review, edit, approve and immediately send an exact saved draft.
No. Mailrooom connects to your existing email accounts using their IMAP and SMTP settings. Your provider continues hosting your mail.
Microsoft mailboxes can use OAuth sign-in after administrator setup. Other providers need secure IMAP access with a password or eligible app password; some accounts and plans do not allow this. Check the provider guides and requirements before signing up, then test your connection in the app.
An MCP-compatible assistant can request scoped permission to read messages or save drafts. Sending is optional and requires your review and approval of the exact draft in Mailrooom. You can revoke assistant access from the app.
The Mail tab opens a read-only message preview with sanitized HTML and plain-text options. Opening it does not mark it read or change its stars. Your mailbox status comes from your email provider; remote images and executable email content do not load.
Your next briefing can cover more than one inbox.
Create an account, connect your mailboxes, then ask your AI.
